As I look back at this…I can’t help but to think I’ve came a long way…
his beauty still haunts me to this day. even though i reminisce about last time we talked and shared our innermost thoughts…my heart grows sad knowing that it’ll never be like that again…

Don Cornelius will never been forgotten. Soul Train set the tone of bringing soul music to the mainstream. We really don’t know the extent of his personal life. However, I hope that his soul found the peace that he couldn’t find in the last few years of his life. RIP…

This will be very interesting to see how MTV will handle black women transitioning to natural hair. I’m not surprised that BET didn’t think about having a show like this on their network.

Great candid shots of photographers and models at work and play.
I didn’t even know that there was a reply. My apologies, Yolanda, that this is coming extremely late.
I’ve been using a leave-in conditioner, Taliah Waajid’s Black Earth Detangler and Jamaican Mango and Lime locing creme for moisture and hold. I also use Hot Six Oil (a little goes a long way), to keep the twists light and not too heavy during the week.
My edification doesn’t have to start with the new year. It started days ago. I will not carry any of 2011’s baggage into 2012. 2011 was such a rough year to where I cried enough tears. Heartbreak, hurt, betrayal, and distrust will not infiltrate my spirit any longer. My paradigm shift has been realized. I already made my invocations to the Creator to forgive, repent, and live. If I apologize to those I’ve hurt along the way and they don’t respond, at least I know I’ve made the attempt. I can close the chapter and move forward. I accept this. It’s time to fully embrace 2012 with loving arms and kiss it full on the lips.

What a wonderful concept that was very well-executed by everyone! The colors and sharpness are extraordinary. Loved the videos of Dexter that gave folks a unique insight to the man behind the lens. He’s on his way to becoming legendary!

Jirard’s work is exquisite. The Manifold video is just intoxicating. I can’t wait to see more from him.
Shifting my way of thinking in order to manifest myself for the better.
